How does a membership to C.I.C. benefit you?

Becoming a CIC Member gives you additional savings over our already low service fees, and also allows us to work with you to create a package to meet your specific needs. While we do have standard membership packages designed for various industries and business sizes; as a member we will work with you, gaining the best possible understanding of your needs. Then, once we fully understand your requirements, we will custom tailor a membership package specifically to address them. At C.I.C. we can create a package that will handle all of your needs including credit reporting, searches and, with our affiliations to collection agencies, delinquencies.

What is involved in becoming a member?

1. When you sign up as a new member, an initial membership charge of $200.00 will be billed to you; Which, depending on your affiliations, you may get a discount on. This is the only fee you pay - there are no hidden costs or additional setup costs.
2. There is no requirement for land title documents; current registry papers, proof of ownership, title or transfer papers, etc. All you do is fill out the Master Services Contract and you are ready to go.
3. There is a small annual renewal fee of up to $50.00. However if you don't wish to maintain your membership you are under no obligation to renew it and can continue to use our services a-la-carte

Who can become a member?

Simply put, any business or property management company to individual landlords that have a need for our services can become a member. At the bottom of this page you will find the documents that are required to conduct credit file searches.

How Are Credit Checks Performed?

In compliance with rules set out by the credit bureaus, all credit request forms must be signed by your applicants and submitted to us by you.

If your applicants already fill out a form that authorizes you to check their credit, then they do not have to fill out our credit request from. Simply fax or email us the Credit application for rent form found on the bottom of this page signed by your applicant and we will go to work.

Turn around time

Remember C.I.C. is not a credit re-seller and you will not be able to access any searches online through our website. That said, our turn-around time is extremely fast. During regular business hours, a representative from our offices will contact you with a verbal report of our findings in regards to your perspective applicant within an hour of your search request. Additionally, we will provide you our opinion as to whether the applicant suits your needs.
